TROY A. MILES, MD
Thank you for visiting my website and taking the first step in becoming the best advocate for your own health. I believe that patients should play a central role in the management of their orthopaedic injuries, and I am here to help you reach your goals and get back in the game.
I am a specialist in surgery of the hip and knee, practicing in Redding, California. I strive to give each of my patients highly personalized treatment. My interests include non-replacement options for hip arthritis, as well as the latest techniques in minimally invasive hip replacement and resurfacing. I have advanced fellowship training in total hip replacement, total knee replacement, total shoulder replacement, revision total hip and knee replacement, and fracture care.
My credentials include completion of residency at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. Following the completion of orthopaedic residency, I spent one year under the direction of Dr. Mauro Giordani at the University of California, Davis, where I became a student of hip and knee surgery. While under Dr. Giordani's direction, I participated in hundreds of total hip arthroplasties, cartilage transplantation (osteochondral allografting), mosaicplasty, unicompartmental knee arthroplasty, realignment of the pelvis, femur and knee (osteotomies), and resurfacing hip arthroplasty.
Having completed my fellowship training, I returned home to the North State in 2016. As I continue to develop my practice, my goal remains to provide the highest quality care to each and every patient.
